Treasures of the eath trail

The areas included in the application are characterized by the unusual geological diversity, which is rare in Poland. You can learn about it by visiting quarries and interesting exhibitions. In Strzelin you can visit an interesting exhibition of rocks and minerals and granite quarry (Note! Entrance to the quarry is forbidden because the mine is operational), the former basalt mine in Kowalskie, the limestone quarry in Przeworno, the granite works in Chwałków, the marble guarry in Gębczyce, and the exhibition 'Treasures of the Kobierzyce Region' in the beautiful palace in Kobierzyce. Remember that entering into operating quarries is extremely dangerous!
