17th century palace

Palace

Information

  • Address: 55-040 Biskupice Podgórne
Not renovated since WWII, the palace has been gradually deteriorating, and is now practically a ruin. Today, it is being restored by a private owner, probably intended for a hotel. The building is cellared, built of brick on a square plan, two-bayed, two-storey, partially with an attic. On the facade, there is a small projection, and a small pinnacle at the corner. The gable roof with pediments and attics covers the structure. The main entrance is accessible via a high staircase. The palace park with a new pond is surrounded by stone and brick walls adorned with pinnacles.
