This picturesque ruin is all that remains of a palace that was built here in the 17th century. At the beginning of the 20th century, the estate was thoroughly reconstructed and changed into a then fashionable romantic neo-Gothic residence. It has been falling into ruin since 1945. Currently, it is privately owned and closed for visiting. The past splendor of the palace can be traced only in the walls and beautiful though neglected garden with a pond. Not far from the estate, there are farm buildings with a cartouche of duke Leo von Ballestrem, a former owner, set in the wall.
