The Human Library is a space where participants have the opportunity to "borrow" Human Books - people representing various social groups, often faced with misunderstanding or social exclusion. The event is an opportunity for a personal conversation, thanks to which you can confront your ideas and prejudices with real stories and experiences. The Human Library is an international educational project initiated in 2000 in Denmark, currently implemented in over 80 countries around the world. It has been recognized by the Council of Europe as an official method of education about human rights. The main idea of the project is to promote values such as openness, respect and diversity.
