Slezanski Cultural Center, Slezanski Sports and Recreation Center and the Mayor of Sobótka Town and Municipality Miroslaw Jarosz invite to the Celebration of Independence Day in Sobótka.

November 10

12.00 - Holy Mass (church of St. Jacob the Apostle)

13.30 ŚOSiR STADIUM - Open-air historical re-enactment “Reduta Ordona” with the participation of the Historical Reconstruction Group of the Organized Battery of Horse Artillery of the Woysk Xięstwa Warszawskie from Sobótka, Jegrów Twierdza Kłodzka, Artillery of the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Duchy of Warsaw Krotoszyce and volunteers from PZS No. 3 in Sobótka. In addition, the program of the outdoor event includes demonstrations of drill and six artillery positions.

ca. 14.15 SOSiR STADON - Joint singing of songs around a campfire with a scout group, grilled sausages and pea soup.

10.00 Solemn Holy Mass for the intention of the Homeland (St. James the Apostle Church)

After the Mass, the procession will march down St. Jacob Street and pass under the Market Square 3 tenement house towards the Polish Settlers monument. After the procession arrives at the monument to Polish Settlers, there will be a laying of flowers and singing of the national anthem.
